Application Requirements
On applying to study at Mukhanyo Theological College the following documentation are required to be submitted along with your application form.
- Certified copies of the following personal documents:
- Matric certificate or equivalent school-leaving certificate
- Transcripts/certificates of any other completed qualifications
- Proof of Identity:
- South African Applicants: Identity Document (ID)
- Non-South African Applicants living in South Africa: Passport and Residency Visa/Permit.
- Non-South African Applicants living outside South Africa: Passport
- A completed Church Leader’s Testimonial from your pastor stating your current membership status and describing your Christian character, as well as their contact details.
- A current ID photo
(Please note without these documents your application will not be processed.)
Once all documents have been received, you will then be contacted for an interview and basic entry level tests may need to be done.
Local Learning students ONLY:
A Local Learning tutor will contact you to arrange a short interview, and complete the Tutor Recommendation Form.
Note: Carefully read the code of conduct for students and other policies contained in the prospectus before submitting the application – submitting the application indicates your acceptance to abide by MTC rules.

3. Church Leader’s Contact Details: Mukhanyo will contact your church leader to complete the Church Leader’s Testimonial. Without this your application will not be processed.
